The complete customer journey
- Step 01: Books and arrives. The customer books their visit in the Kavach mobile app, then drives to the suburban facility. Walk-ins are welcome, but an appointment is preferred — and if the facility is at capacity, they wait until a booth is free.
- Step 02: Through the security mantrap. Entry is through a two-door mantrap. The outer door must close and verify before the inner door opens, so no one can follow them in — only the verified customer passes into the secure zone.
- Step 03: Reaches the terminal booth. Past the mantrap, they go to their private terminal booth. Only one customer uses a booth at a time, so the visit stays completely private from here on.
- Step 04: Security layer one — card and biometric. Access to the booth is controlled. The first layer pairs their access card with a biometric check, granting entry only to the registered locker holder.
- Step 05: Partner notified, in real time. At the same moment, a real-time notification reaches their nominated partner. On dual-control lockers, the partner must approve remotely before access continues — two approvals, not one.
- Step 06: Security layer two — three-factor at the panel. Inside the booth, at the touchscreen panel, full authentication combines three factors — their access card, a fingerprint, and a four-digit PIN. Only then does the vault release their locker.
- Step 07: The vault delivers their locker. The fully automated vault system retrieves the deposit box and delivers it to the dispenser — no staff, no bending, no reaching, wherever it sits in the vault.
- Step 08: Security layer three — their security key. When the dispenser opens, the final layer is theirs alone: a physical security key opens the deposit box.
- Step 09: Accesses in complete privacy. They add or remove what they need — documents, jewellery, heirlooms, the things they could never replace — with no one else in the room.
- Step 10: Locks, confirms all clear. They lock the deposit box with their key, return it to the dispenser, and confirm on the touch panel that nothing is left behind. The vault returns the box to its position.
- Step 11: Exits through the mantrap. With the session closed, the customer steps out of the terminal booth and leaves through the two-door mantrap — every visit logged and the facility monitored throughout.
